What to include

Include the exact message ID or its URL without the fragment after #, a clear explanation of why the content is illegal, the relevant facts or legal grounds, your name and email unless a lawful exception applies, and a statement that your notice is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Do not send the decryption key, password or unnecessary sensitive data.

What we can do

Messages are encrypted, so SurCod cannot inspect their content or retrieve a deleted message. You may ask us to delete a reported ID. We assess notices and supporting information, and may remove a stored encrypted record where appropriate. This does not make its content readable or restore a record that has already been read or expired. We address sufficiently specific notices without undue delay and inform the reporter of the outcome where contact details are available.

Immediate danger

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or the competent authorities. This reporting channel is not an emergency service.
